Head of Global Technology Services with over 20 years of experience working in a number of countries across EMEA with specific industry experience of Investment Banking / Financial Services and Outsourcing with specific focus in setting up and implementing state of the art multi-functional shared services centres / service locations and head offices, involving multimillion dollar projects in multiple IT-related functions and systems on a pan-European scale.

 

  • Managed large-scale IT deployment programmes, through effective project management and people management techniques in the set-up and support of five (5) service locations in Krakow (>6000 seats), for one of the world’s largest investment banks.

  • Sourced and Implemented Starlink and other infrastructure elements to enhance our Business Continuity posture during and continuing geopolitical situation.

  • Achieved $1.5 million savings in IT spend and operating costs by leading IT operational
    and client facing teams in the delivery of high performing IT services.

  • Managed large teams of people including local and global vendor’s \ partners,
    contractors and subcontractors across a number of countries in order to drive cutting
    edge technology solutions.

  • Vast experience of European, local government and client compliance requirements.

  • Led a number of transitions from in-country to the service location and then performed on-going support and project managed multiple parties (both internal and external) to achieve pre-agreed goals and service level agreements (SLA’s).

  •  Implemented and supported a service centre to support both internal and external
    clients with 1st class support.

  •  Vendor and IT partner negotiations, procurement and management including the setup of regional contracts to suit the business requirements and country specific
    requirements.

  • Deploying and supporting the global technology strategy for DaaS (Desktop as a Service) & End User compute technology (Dell Wyse) across Poland.

  • Supported Poland Business operations during the pandemic by deploying technology solutions to enable full remote work from home with no impact to the clients.
